Fore SEM (search engine marketing) is marketing your website with paid method such as PPC (pay per click) it’s about all methods that can be done to utilize the technology of search engines with one goal in mind and that is to promoting a web site and increasing its traffic, its "ranking,"

    SEO is simply a subset of SEM. An SEM campaign includes the use Search engine optimization, Pay per click advertising, Paid inclusion, Search analytics and Mobile advertising.

    SEO is focused on getting organic traffic from search engines.
