PLEASE HELP ME WITH SEO???!!?

1. What steps can you take to reduce the amount of duplicate content on a website?

2. What do you think is more important offsite or onsite optimisation? Why?

3. How would you find out which keywords we should be optimising the website for?

Im so stressed and struggling, would really appreciate someones help on these questions.

start with these in reverse order.
use googles keyword suggestion tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal to get keywords that are relevant to your site and have high search volumes

you need to do onsite and offsite optimisation, you cannot do good offsite optimisation without having done good onsite optimisation! – make sure you have used your keywords in the text of the pages and made content relevant and useful

Duplicate content isnt a problem unless it looks like you are trying to spam the search engines. shops and other sites which list items etc often have duplicate content for very good reasons and they dont get penalized by the search engines. dont copy others content and you will be fine.

    You cannot stop any one to copy your content , for your safety you can only get your content verified from copy scape and in case some one copies your content you can file a complaint.

    in SEO both off page and On page are important .. you can expect rankings by doing only one of them

    Regarding keywords you are the best judge for that .. its human mind who has developed all the tools … if you want you can search for keyword suggestion tools on Google , or you can check out yourself what services are you providing on your website..
